Issues connecting to Tableau Desktop

I’m having issues connecting Tableau Desktop to my bit.io database. Here’s the message I get.

I’ve had similar issues with other postgresql databases. Does bit.io support connection using JDBC drivers? Connecting that way is how I got around the same issue with Tableau previously.

In particular, when using JDBC, it is required to change the database name separator from / to a different supported separator like ..
